Pacesetter Award Honors Taylor’s for Job Growth and Innovation
Taylor’s Concrete Cutting Services LLC joins an elite group of Kentucky businesses being honored with a 2009 Pacesetter Award. Owner Ron Taylor accepted the award at the Kentucky Celebrates Small Businesses event held in the Capitol Rotunda. The Pacesetter Business Recognition Program is an initiative that acknowledges high performing second-stage small businesses that are changing the economic landscape of Kentucky by introducing innovative products; increasing sales and/or production; boosting employment; and, serving the communities of the Commonwealth.
Taylor’s Concrete Cutting Services LLC is a full service concrete cutting and drilling contractor that serves Southern Kentucky, Nashville and Middle Tennessee. The company started in 1999 when owner Ron Taylor, a veteran of the sawing and drilling industry, purchased his first truck. The company now employs 14 employees and operates six trucks. Taylor’s is committed to improving their employees’ experience. They are seeing the results of their employee initiatives through a 100 percent decrease in their employee turnover rate. Taylor’s Concrete Cutting Services LLC received the 2009 Pacesetter for creating sustainable jobs, engaging employees and increasing sales.
