Concrete Cutting Methods for Every Situation

Each service we provide has a purpose. Different jobs require different cutting strategies, and using the proper method ensures accuracy, safety, and efficiency. This page gives you a quick overview of our primary capabilities before selecting a specific service page to learn the deeper details, recommended use cases, equipment types, and real-world examples.

Flat Sawing

Flat sawing is used for precise cuts on horizontal surfaces like floors, roads, bridge decks, and pavement. This method protects surrounding structure while allowing clean controlled removal up to 15″ deep.

Core Drilling

Core drilling creates precise round openings for plumbing, electric, HVAC, sprinkler systems, anchors, drains, and more without disturbing surrounding areas. Holes can be drilled from 1″ to 36″ diameter in almost any material, including concrete, asphalt, and stone.

Manhole Boot Installation

We install A-LOK G3 watertight manhole boots that meet ASTM C-923 for long-term durability in sanitary or stormwater systems. The system allows controlled deflection and offsets while ensuring a reliable seal.

Wall Sawing

Wall sawing is used when precise openings are required in vertical or steep concrete surfaces — such as new doors, overhead doors, vents, or window enlargements. With hydraulic wall sawing, we can cut up to 17″ deep (and up to 34″ where both sides are accessible).

Hand & Chain Sawing

Hand and chain sawing is ideal for tight access areas or when overcuts must be avoided. This solution is perfect for small, precise openings, trim cuts, duct openings, electrical cutouts, and corner details.
