Wall Sawing
Trusted Cutting Expertise
Wall sawing uses a track-mounted diamond blade system to cut precise openings in vertical surfaces and steep inclines where flat saws cannot be used. This method produces clean, dimensional cuts with tight tolerances and controlled results in structural concrete.

What Is Wall Sawing?
Wall sawing is designed for cutting doors, overhead doors, windows, vents, and controlled structural openings in concrete walls. The track system allows the saw to run smoothly along the surface for highly accurate results and consistent cut depth. With hydraulic wall sawing, Taylor’s can cut up to 17” deep — and up to 34” deep when there is access to both sides of the wall.

Common Use Cases and Applications
Wall sawing is ideal when controlled openings are required in structural surfaces without overcuts. It supports new installation work, expansions, demo prep, and selective removal in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Typical use cases for wall sawing include:
- Cutting door openings and overhead door openings
- Creating new window openings or enlargements
- Vents and duct openings
- Dock leveler openings
- Stair cutting and pit enlargements
- Retaining wall demolition and removal
- Controlled dimensional demo prep
